My father was aboard the USS E G Small. His dates of service were 5-51 to 1-54. His photo of the Small says 'China, Korea, Japan, Hawaii.' I am hoping for some information from anyone who served on the Small. My eldest son is doing a history report in memorium for my father who passed away last May. He wants to entitle it 'Daily Life Aboard the USS E G Small' and his history teacher is encouraging him. Any information you would have would be greatly appreciated.
