March 02, 1952 on board SKSN S2 Division, GQ station after service lookout, Hawaii, Japan, North Korea, Sasebo, Wonsan and she got the name grey ghost of the Korean coast. Returned home passing through Pearl Harbor, reunited with my wife Dauneta then through Panama Canal to Norfolk VA & Haiti Cuba. After dry dock the ship was leaving for Europe & they discharged all who would get releasd before the ship returned.
