Hi Jim,
I’m writing to let you know that I have a friend (now deceased) that probably
served with Robert Cooper aboard the Ardent. My buddies name is James W. Eckert
and he served aboard from Dec 44 till Aug 45. Before James (Jim) passed last
year he asked me to pass along his pictures and memorabilia of the Ardent.

I hope that Robert is still with us and doing well. Jim was 95 when he passed
and I hope to pass his memories onto Robert.

Thanks,
Jim Heimbach
