I served in VC-11 from spring of 1951 to August of 1954, went on two cruises on the Essex in 1951/52 and 1953/54. Would like to hear from any of flight crews. I was a radar operator and we flew mostly AD-3's and AD-4's. We did get the AD-5 just before I got out.

Looking for any VC-11 of that era and especially any on the Essex in 1951-52 and 1953-54.

I was privileged to have served in VC-11 from Feb. 49 til June 52. I served in detachments aboard USS Bairoko during operation MIKI to Hawaii in 49 then in 50 on the USS Valley Forge during the Korean War and again aboard her for the 51/52 cruise to Korea again. A good squadron she was. God Bless All X VC-11 Members
