I and 2 other airmen were deployed to the USS Missouri on December 15 of 1952 for 45 days.
Can anyone who served on the ship at that time tell us if we are entitled to wear any battle stars for that period. I know we were in combat but all our records were destroyed in the fire at Personnel Records in St. Louis in the 60's.
I still have me "original" deployment orders.
