Sounds like a man I served with on the Destroyer DD884 during years 1954-57. He was a good man. Well liked by all.

I am looking for anyone who served with my grandfather JD Johnson. i am not sure what he did in the Navy or when he was in, just know it was in the late forties early fifties. I am intrested in learning about his past for he has passed away now and we never got to exchange our military stories. Please help. Thank you. katrina Johnson
