I was a Personnel Specialist with the 2d Admin Co at Camp Ross, 1969-70. I maintained the records of the 1st of the 15th Arty Unit during my tour of duty and lived in a Quonset hut at the camp. After hours, I engaged in the recreational activities provided by the nearby village of Yonjugol and the lovely ladies of the night who kept all us GI's smiling--- and a little less homesick.....

Camp Ross' 2d Replacement Detachment processed Enlisted Personnel destined for units of the division after their arrival from ASCOM and upon DEROS their return trip to Kimpo AFB for a Freedom Bird back to The World. Band, Division Support Command (DISCOM), and 2d Administration Company billeted there with duty assignments at Division Headquarters Camp Howze.
