I served from Jan.3 1967 thru Feb 3 1968 at the far east end of the EASY QUEEN
MOUNTAIN at the Village of Nopa'e Dong with Co.B 2nd Eng. Btln 2nd Inf Div. My
unit spent approx. 9 months above the Imjin River building the first ever DMZ
Berrier Fence on the DMZ South Tape.We also cleared old minefields with one of our
men stepping on one and losing most of his foot.My unit Company B were twice
Ambushed by N.Korean forces while working on the berrier fence.
