The reunion headquarters will be the Holiday Inn, Rosslyn at Key Bridge 1900 North Fort Myer Drive, Arlington, Va 22209 hirosalyn@aol.com 1-800-368-3408. Mention Code GL6 when calling to get block room rate . Call by May 18,2001. $109 per night, per room, block rate (regular rate is $150)plus 9.75% tax. It is 3 miles from Reagan National Airport. Use taxi or the Metro (the subway)-get off at Rosslyn Station. The hotel is right across the street. This hotel overlooks the Potomic River. It has a large parking garage with complimentary parking for guests. Adjoining rooms are available. This will be a family reunion. Bring your wife and children, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, (sorry no outlaws allowed), pictures, MP arm bands, Imjin Scout patches, and enough C-rations for 3 days. We will have a DUK tour of DC and parts of the Potomic River (a DUK is an army vehicle which has been converted to a tourist bus...it goes on the roads and then drives into the water and is a boat). We'll have a meal at a Korean resturant Friday night and an American resturant Saturday night. Feel free to come early or stay late. We'll have a hospitality room where you can gather and look at each other's pictures and swap stories. I post further info on this site as we decide what the heck we're going to do. We've done 3 of these things and the reunions keep getting better and better. Bill and Irene Roskey are doing an outstanding job planning this reunion. David Benbow

Korean vets who served after the Korean war "ended" will have a reunion in Washington, DC on June 8,9,10,2001. We will have a special memorial service for the American servicemen who died in Korea after 1953. The organization, "No Greater Love", will sponsor the service at Arlington National Cemetary on June 9,2001 at 11:00 am. Based on what No Greater Love has done for other services, it should be outstanding. We will have a tour of the pentegon, a tour of Washington, good food, great fellowship. Bill Roskey is in charge. He is checking on accomodations and I will post more info on this website as our plans are worked out. I have invited the parents of 3 soldiers who died and the daughter of a fourth. Even though you may not have known Michael Rymarczuk, Tim Eckles,Mike Reynolds,or Jim Weeks they were our brothers. Let's honor them and the others who died, with our attendance at the ceremony. All who are interested are invited. David Benbow
