I am looking for anyone who may have known my great uncle, Ronald L. Murphy. He was in the 2nd Infantry Division, 23rd Infantry Regiment, Company K. He was killed in action on July 18, 1952 while serving as a squad leader on an assault of hill 262. He was a posthumously awarded the silver star for his actions that day.
I was just hoping someone may have known him and could share any information or stories about him. He was my grandmother's brother. Unfortunately my mother never had the opportunity to meet him.
