Korean Cold War Veterans,

We, Camryn Landreth and David Benbow, would like for you
to attend a reunion on March 23-25, 2018 at the Hilton
Garden Inn in Statesville , North Carolina . We will have
a hospitality room for all of you to gather starting
Friday March 23rd through Sunday March 25th. There will
be dinner together on Friday and Saturday evenings at the
hotel. You will need to pay approximately $25 per dinner.
The hotel has given a special room rate of $109 plus tax
per night. You will need to mention that you are a Korean
veteran to get the discount. The hospitality room cost
has been donated.

David Benbow has been helping me organize this event. He
has been to half a dozen of these reunions and has
enjoyed each one. His favorite part of these reunions,
has hands down been the quality time he has gotten to
spend catching up with old friends and making new ones,
all of whom were in the military after 1953. Most of you
receiving this, served in the late 1960's and early
1970's.

This invitation extends to your families! They will no
doubt enjoy learning more about what you did as a
soldier. David Benbow will speak Friday night about your
shared history and about agent orange spraying in Korea .
Saturday morning there will be a trip to Richards
Military Museum in Mooresville and a trip to a NASCAR
team shop. The History Channel documentary Running the
DMZ will be shown in the hospitality room Saturday
afternoon and the hospitality room will be open for
informal conversation during this time and/or you may
want to take a nap in your room.

Saturday evening another dinner will be held, with a
program on the books and publications on various internet
sites about the Korean DMZ. Hopefully some of the authors
will attend.

A slide show of your time in Korea will be shown. Some
books and magazines will be given away also.T-shirts and
other Korean related merchandise will be available for
purchase.

Those of you who will fly, can fly into Charlotte or
Greensboro. Each airport is one hour by interstate from
Statesville. Those who drive, will find easy access via
I-77 and I-40, which intersect in Statesville .

You may contact Camryn Landreth at
1024883@student.iss.k12.nc.us or David Benbow at either
david@statesvillelaw.com or 704-871-9000.

Please rsvp to any contact above!

Sincerely,

Camryn Landreth
