Hello Trooper!
I served within the Spoonbill Sector from January 1961 - May 1962...we had various incursions from the boys north of the Z...one time in particular a Platoon of the Northern gooks enterd and crossed the Z. 8 th Army incident....Delta Company 1/8 First Horse, being combat ready never got to interceed because they lacked the duce and one halfs transportation of which Lt. Donald R. Fossett, Motor Pool Officer lost his US Army career for dereliction of duty because the trucks never arrived////another incident involved a young PFC capturing four of five wood cutters on Easter Sunday morning 1962. Ever hear about these events?
Thank You Trooper stay Well/

Send your name, address, phone #, e-mail, unit and years in Korea and I'll add you to the DMZ vets. We have about 300 members, including several donut dollies, family members of guys killed in the DMZ, authors, but mostly just guys who were there. I send out newsletters a couple of times a year and we've had 3 reunions over the last 5 years. David Benbow
