I was stationed at Camp McNair from April of 1969-May of 1970. I have hypertension
and developed Afib. Put in for compensation for exposure to agent orange during
that time period. On many occasions, I did cross the river and had duty at the
south tape of the DMZ. I was denied compensation due to the fact that the VA
states that Camp McNair was never exposed to any toxic chemicals. Any thoughts??
Thanks.

Stationed at Camp McNair 1969 -1970. Found it interesting that veterans who
served in a unit in or near DMZ between April 1, 1968 and August 31, 1971 may
have been exposed to agent orange. I served with a great group of men at Camp
McNair which was 2nd Infantry Division Artillery Headquarters.

Does anyone remember my grandfather, Max Lukjanowicz from
this camp? This would have been sometime during the Korean
War. He was in the Army.

Anyone remember serving at Camp McNair 1st Cav Div Arty between '63-'64. A lot happened on that tour, Kennedy got assassinated, a lot of alerts. North Koreans came across the line and attacked a patrol and killed a friend of mine. If you served at that time let me know. Thanks Roger
