I was with Headquarters Troop 4/7 Cavalry 2nd Infantry Division from Dec 1969-
March 1971. Stationed just South of Freedom Bridge by Unchonee, just North of
Munson. Spent 14 months of which 13 were spent playing in the DMZ. I drove the
S-3 Operations M151A1 Jeep

HHC 1/38th medic Went on ambush Aug 4th 1968 Came off the
next morning The medic{Terry Peterson} that replaced me for
that day was killed around 5pm that day Only American KIA
that day He had at least 25 bullet holes in him I found his
grave about 5 years ago in Minn I will never forget what
went on there Aug 67 to Sept 68

2nd infantry Div Camp Casey 1965-1966 After more than 20 DMZ
missions the Base commander handed me a certificate and
badges in a envelope 3 days before coming back to the
states.Never got sewn on. Still have the certificate but the
badges are long gone

Imjim River and Freedom Bridge 13
Months 1972-1973.
We pulled our own guard duty
outpost,wire and had several fire
fights on night guard with
Infiltrating on night,guard !
infiltraitor sitings were seeked out
day and night. Speaker mountain etc.

Hi, i was stationed with the Joint Security Force at what
use to be Camp Liberty Bell. Was there from Oct 80-81. id
like to have a couple of the should patches we wore. They
were shaped like a Ranger Bn. scroll bur had Pan Mun Jom on
it and maybe UNCSG/JSA.
anyone over there or was stationed there and has a couple
id like to buy them from you.Ill make it worth the effort.

Imjin Scouts patches are easily available on e-bay for 3-5
dollars. I also am looking for a pocket badge. They are
very rare. I was in HHC 2/9 inf 2ID 1968-69. We stayed
above the Imjin. Never rotated.
