I was serving as a recon sgt from the 57th FA Bn and the Ethiopians were relieving the company that I was supporting at the time. The Machine Gun LT did not like the mg positions and said that he wanted to locate them farther down the mountian so he could get to chinks sooner! We had our picture taken with him.

I remember the Ethiopians were on line next to us on Heartbreak Ridge in November of 51. We would go through their positions on patrol at night. We all thought the Chinease were especially afraid to the Ethiopians, but they couldn`t stand the cold weather in Dec. of 51.
