I am a JROTC instructor at a NYC High School and my cadets are building a 'Wall of Honor' for the Veterans Day Parade. I want them to learn more than the text books teach them about the Korean War. I want them to talk to or write to a Korean War vet, get a picture of the person and make it into a poster for the wall. Any other memoribilia that they can collect will also be displayed on the wall. Any units having reunions can really help by sending us a picture of the unit autographed by those attending. Please enclose information about the unit's role in Korea. Anyone wishing to help these young people keep the memories alive may contact me at HSGCA@aol.com.
Thanks in advance.
