Hello, I'm looking for anyone who may remember my dad, Charles W. WARR (Nickname "Modica") from Alabama, who was in the Korean War 1950 - 51. He was in Japan on occupancy duty then sent to Korea, but I am unsure which division or unit. His sparse DD214 had him as combat infantry, basic at Ft. Jackson, then to Aberdeen. He passed in '86 but from the stories that filtered down to me, I recall he was in one of the first units to arrive in June or July. He fought at Pusan and Chosin for certain, he went through Seoul twice, and there was mention of the Han River, Twin Tunnels, and Kunu-ri(?). He was 17 and taken under wing by a WWII Sgt. who's name was maybe Holden? Holton? My dad was one of the few to survive from his Company. Any info would be appreciated.
