Looking for anyone who served in U.S. Army, Company G, 2nd Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division in Korean War with SFC Milton Wesley Bailey who helped to save his unit under very heavy enemy Chinese fire near the DMZ on July 17, 1951. His remains have still not been recovered. He is MIA, last seen on a North Korean mountain ridge holding off enemy fire so his unit could retreat. He has a living comrade who was the point man that day and has provided an accounting (and written and dedicated a book to Bailey) of this incident.
Milton Wesley Bailey ... anyone have any information to help with our research?
