My husband was in the Army Security Agency 1966-1969 and he now has Multiple Myeloma. At that time he regularly was sent out from his base Camp Alamo for assignment along the DMZ (3 miles away). Because the ASA was the Army's Intelligence arm the assignments were considered classified. Is there anyone out there who served in the ASA at Camp Alamo around that time that can support the nature of the work orders; and that the soldiers in the ASA did in fact go to the DMZ to conduct surveillance? The VA and DoD said that ASA soldiers never went near the DMZ and are denying my husbands disability claim as a result. Please contact me as soon as possible if you have any information to support and backup our claim. Thank you so much!
