I would really like to see if anyone could help navigate the
confusion I'm facing. For years my grandfather told us that
he was a Paratrooper, among the 1st to jump over Pusan. But
recently I received a clearer copy of his DD214 and it says
that he was a member of the WIRE PBN CO 304 SIG OPN BN. His
DD214 indicates he was a telegraph typewriter operator.
My grandfather served in the Army during the Korean war,
1951-53.
If anyone could please help me, I would really appreciate
your help!! Thank you and Thank you all for your service.
A Grateful Granddaughter.
