My dad is Dale Erickson, originally from Mohall, ND. He attended bootcamp at Camp Chaffee Arkansas in April 1952. When he was sent to Korea, he was assigned to Company A, 145th Field Artillery Battalion. He was the lead gunner on a 155mm Howitzer Long Tom. He was in Korea from October or November of 1952, until December of 1953. He has rarely spoken of the war in all of these years, but in the last 4 or 5 months has been telling many stories and sharing many memories, and is VERY EAGER to find ANYONE he may have served with that is still living. His memory is quite sharp and he loves to chat on the phone. He'd really like to get into contact with some of his war friends/family before it's too late. My dad doesn't do e-mail, so I told him I'd use mine and let him know if we find anyone. Thank you.
