I am looking for anyone that served with my grandpa, Cleo Kimbrell. I have photos of him in Korea with other guys and would like to know who they are. I want to know more about his time in the military. His records were also destroyed like many others. He enlisted (drafted) 19 Jan 1951 and was discharged I believe June of 1952. I know the discharge year is correct. He passed when I was only 3, and my grandma do ant remember much about his time in service. From what she remembers he was supposed to be a light vehicle mechanic, but actually cooked for troops. I would love to know more if anyone has any information. I don't even know what company he was deployed with. He went to basic in Arkansas and she says he left from Arkansas to go to Korea, then when he returned he went to Ft. Sill.
