Was part of the infantry guard force. Aco 3/32 7th ID We were quartered with the
missiles. February 69 March 70. We were on a 4 month rotation, El Paso, Hovey and
the DMZ.

Camp El Paso is coming back to me, anybody remember eating kimchee??? Lt Walt
Abstein was a stand-up officer. He locked my heels a time or two because I didn't
have the parts as I had promised. Should anyone want to revisit Camp El Paso March

Served at A batt. 4th BN 44th Arty Jun '68 thru July '69. Have still in my
possession a Yearbook type collection much like a high school or college
yearbook. Put together in mid '69. Has all personnel listings and lots of
misc. pics. I was a 52 B 30 in charge of generators. 60 cycle & 400 cycle. At
the time new high power radar was built and installed on radar mountain top.
Across a super large valley was launcher area with launchers and rails dug in
the side of the mountain side. Served at Selfridge AFB, Nike Herc., prior to
Korea. Then 2nd Armored Division and then on to W. Germany Hawk side outside
Fulda. (4 yrs. total active.) Have very little info on other. Email is listed,
contact me if you like.
