Searching for information from my father's service record.
His "component and branch or class" is listed as "AUS Unasgd" Does anyone know what this means?
Also, his most significant duty assignment is "Co 'F' 5422 ASU RC". However, we cannot find anything on this unit or what the acronym means.
I know he served in Korea, as his foreign tour time is over 1 year and he earned a "KSM w/ BSS", which we think means Korean Service Medal with three campaign stars.
