Does anyone remember Walter Lee Yetter from Company L of the 23rd Reg. who was killed on Heartbreak Ridge on 22 Sep. 1951? He is my cousin, and I am writing about him for an extended family remembrance. Any recollection, or story, or experience would be greatly appreciated. He was a pfc and hadn't been in country probably more than a few weeks. According to reports, his company L was heavily mortared that day and the 23rd suffered 22 deaths on the 22nd. (63 KIA on the 19th). Your time and remembrance of him would be greatly appreciated. Your story will be credited to you.
