I am looking for the city where the 159th Field Artillery was discharged from in 1953 (?) for my dad, Rogers Brown. He was a Staff Sargent. The VA records have been destroyed and he does not remember the exact city. He thought it was Camp Roberts but the National Records state that it wasn't. He mentioned Ford Ord, CA, but they are not there any longer.
If anyone can help, it will be greatly appreciated because I need the information for the VA to recreate his discharge papers. Thank you!
