My grandfather passed away from ALS in 1989. He was with the 28th Infantry division and was station over in Germany. I am trying to see if there would be a chance that his ALS is some how connected to him being a veteran of the Korean Conflict even though he was station in Germany. I am trying to get as much information as I can for the VA. The Mayo Clinic doctor told him, my grandma and my dad that his ALS could have been caused by chemicals in the 1950's. Any help with getting any kind of information to give to the VA would be of great help to me.
