I am looking for anyone with information on PFC Rosamond Johnson. African American who died attempting to rescue wounded. Two wounded were rescued before he died in attempting to rescue the third. Anyone with details on this or those he rescued would be greatly appreciated. There is a beautiful National Seashore named in his honor. I am looking for those who may have served with him.

Comments: Corporal Clevenger was a member of Company K, 3rd Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, 24th Infantry Division. He was listed as Missing in Action while fighting the enemy near Chochiwon, South Korea on July 11, 1950. He was presumed dead on December 31, 1953.

I'M LOOKING FOR ANY SURVIVING MEMBER OF 'C' CO. 24TH INF REG. THAT WAS IN KOREA FROM JULY 1950 THRU NOV. 1950. THE NIGHT OF NOV. 26, 1950, MY COMPANY WAS INVOLVE IN TRYING TO RESCUE 'G' COMPANY. WE WERE HIT BY THE CHINESE ON THANKSGIVING DAY, ALL WERE KILLED OR CAPTURED. I SPENT 2 1/2 YEARS IN A CHINESE POW CAMP KNOWN AS CAMP NO. 5. I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM ANY MEMBER OF 'C' CO. OR MEMBERS FROM CAMP #5.
