My late father, Samuel McBroom, Jr. served in Korea from 1952-1954. As far as I know, he spent his entire time over there in the 23rd Quartermasters Group. While he was there, he took quite a few photos. I'm in the process of scanning them right now, but it looks like he kept about 100 Kodachrome slides and a few hundred black and white images.
Many of the photos are of his friends that I assume worked with him at the 23rd QM GP. He wrote some information on the slides, but there's nothing to go along with the b&w images, and unfortunately most of the images of his friends were taken in b&w. Oh well.
Many of the other photos are still interesting. He has several of US POWs being returned, several more of the ravages of war -- bombed out buildings mostly. Some of what I'm assuming is Seoul. And a lot more of where he was stationed. I have a directory at my website where I have scanned some images and put them up there. The number of images in this directory will increase as I scan more. You can find them here:

If you would like to use one or more of the images, I don't mind as long as the use is not for commercial purposes, but I would appreciate it if you give photo credits to Sam H. McBroom, Jr.
