I served in the Honor Guard Unit at CRC in 1962 / 1963. Our primary duty was guarding the perimeter of CRC. While on duty one night around Aug/Sep 1963 a soldier committed suicide and was taken to emergency hospital by helicopter. Does anyone have info on this or similar incident?

I served at Camp Red Cloud from October 1970 to November 1971. Was with A Company 51st Signal Battalion. I had to deliver drums of Agent Orange to units at DMZ. Filed a disability claim with VA exposer and was denied. They said Camp Red Cloud was not in area where Agent Orange was used and did not have proff of me in other areas. There was no paper work to be had because they wanted to keep it quiet. Any help with this?

My Gramps was stationed at Camp Red Cloud in 1962-63. His name is Charles Chitty and he was a cable splicer. He recently passed and I have been scanning through all of his slides and pictures that he took and was wondering if anyone knew him. He always talked about the Korean soldier who was with his crew, he said his name was Lee Jong Suk. If anyone has any kind of information that would be great.

Writing an epic novel of experiences of my time at Camp Red Cloud and an immense maturation an growth. Also, looking for anyone who knows Kim Ok-Hee or Young Gee who lived in Uijeongbu, S. Korea. My husband was Station at Camp Red Cloud during the time Agent Orange was sprayed. His claim was denied . The denial said he was not stationed on the DMZ. he told me no one was stationed at the DMZ they just did guard duty and were stationed at Camp Red Cloud. Has anyone acquired service related benefits due to agent orange while stationed at Camp Red Cloud? Also he told me that there was a golf course on the based that was sprayed with something. Does anyone know what it was? He died Jan 20018 from very aggressive prostate cancer. The V.A. had him do a blood test because they thought it was inherited. The test proved it was not inherited which meant it was environmental.Any information would be greatly appreciated. thank you Mrs. Joe Neil

Petition effecting Korean vets and support units world wide, and many other vet's too.
Did you see these, look at the comments from current signers: We the undersigned petition the US Senate, US Congress and the President of the United States to enact legislation that makes ALL veterans have equal presumption of exposure to Dioxins while in the service of the United States at any location or unit. We feel that ALL veterans MUST be treated equally with respect to Dioxin exposure by the US government and Department of Veterans Affairs.
NOTE: Veterans must also still prove they have a recognized condition, that maybe caused by Dioxin exposure, during or after service to get DVA benefits.
Any one 18 can sign.
