My dad was in Korea with a army unit that worked on a harbor about 5-7 miles from the front. I think the name of it may have started with the letter P, probably in late 52 into early 53. He never wanted to talk much about it and now that he is gone I have become more curious about it. His discharge papers list the unit as 10th Repl Co 10th Inf Div. He did finish out his service by getting a minor medical issue taken care of, so would he have been in Korea with that unit or would he have changed units when he came home for the medical procedure?
