My father's name was Clyde and was stationed at Fort Ord just after graduating college in 1950. He was notorious for writing letters too. :)

My wife's uncle , James Reeves, went through basic training and Inafntry at Fort Ord Ca in 1951. He had a Friend named Clyde that was with him . Don't Have a last name but Clyde sent letters inside Jim's to the family . Really trying to find him .
