My grandfather (MSgt George Carter) served in the 8057th Port Company in Korea 1950-1951 (before he was medically relieved from overseas service because of the severe jungle rot that he contracted).
I am desperately searching for anyone who might remember him or was part of the unit that could share stories with me. My grandfather passed away in 1996 without really sharing him time in Korea with us and I'd really like to learn about it.
