Jorge Rodriguez - My father was probably with you since he was in the 23rd Infantry, B Company, at Old Baldy. He was from West Virginia and his name was WILLIAM WILBUR SMITH. He was a Staff Sgt. by the time he left Korea. He was injured twice. The first time in Sept. 1951 and again Oct. 1951. I attend church with a man who said he drove a tank and everywhere my Dad was he was right behind him somewhere. I seem to recall that he was also in the May Massacre, Heartbreak Ridge, Porkchop and a few other battles.

Dan, were you there? My unit, 23rd Inf. attack old Baldy on July 18, 1952. That was miserable. My company, B Company, came down with only 20 man left. I was one of the lucky 20th.
Nice contacting you.
