true story of Tibor Teddy Rubin etc
Published in 2015 and released in May 2015
The author name is DANIEL COHEN
He says the Master Sergent in question is named Arthur Peyton
I suggest you read the book. You can get it from Amazon or any bookstore
Fantastic book and a very honorable human being

I was not along side my dad or along side mr.rubin during
the Korean conflict. But I was close to my father from the
moment he came home from Korea until he died in 1986. I
simply refuse to believe he was racist or prejudiced
against any man because I never saw a hint of any form of
racism ever from him ever. His closest friends were black ,
we lived in a multi cultural European neighborhood and he
embraced our friends and neighbors from all European
countries as they heartily embraced him. Everyone knew my
dad as a war hero and a humble carpenter and shade tree
mechanic. If you knew him you would have known a gentle
soul seemingly incapable of hate for a man because of his
religion. Many years have passed since Korea. Is it
possible that stories may be confused or memories clouded ?
If that possibility even exists then you would have to
admit it is unfair to slander Artice Watson's name as he is
not here to defend or explain himself. But then again it is
people like him and Mr. Rubin that volunteered to defend
our freedoms including due process.
Douglas Watson on behalf of Artice Watson's extended
family.

I am currently writing a paper about Corporal Rubin as part
of my selection for the Audie Murphy Board. I have limited
resources to research this topic but I do know that around
1980 other men that served with Corporal Rubin (almost one
dozen) submitted sworn affidavits attesting to Watson's
antisemitic language and the fact that he did 'volunteer'
Corporal Rubin for such assignments. I have also found that
two seperate Company Commanders ordered Watson to submit the
paperwork, both of those Commanders died during combat. Yet
Watson never did submit the paperwork.

You are accusingTibor Rubin of fabricating stories about Artice Watson in order to get a medal. Tibor Rubin did not submit himself for this medal. He was recommended by two superior officers of Watson, that he, Watson put up Rubins name as a recipient for the medal. He never did. Many soldiers who served under Watson testified that he was an overt anti-semite. The fact that he may have been a good soldier should ot detract from the fact that he never submitted Tibor Rubin's name for honors and that he also sent him out on the most horrific missions alone without any back up. No commanding officer would send out one of his men and put him in harms way ALONE. Watson did and only to Tibor Rubin--he obviously had no regard for Tibor Rubin's life.Rubin never asked for this medal and never told a single lie about Watson. It was his comarades in arms who had nothing to gain or lose who reported Watsons unforgiveable behavior.

Comments:

1stSgt Artice V Watson spent 30 years in the army and was my personal 'John Wayne'. Recently terrible accusations have been made about how he was an antisemite
and failed to put a man up for a CMOH because he was a jew. Everyone involved in this CMOH is now dead. Artice can not defend his own name and 30 years of service for the country he loved has been trashed. I never heard him say anything negative about jews or any other race.
They said he sent this person (jew) out on dangerous missions to get him killed. Maybe Artice felt the man was the most capable of getting the job done. We all know that if he had wanted him killed that it could have been done. I just believe it is a shame that a person, no matter what race, would ruin the hard earned reputation of a man to gain a medal that they may or may not deserve. Is it possible that the hate was directed to Artice V. Watson and not from him? If any one out there knew Artice in Korea, China, Germany, India,or Ft Rucker please write me.
