I’m looking for ANY information on Otis E. Ward, served in Company G, 2nd

Does anyone recognize the name PFC Grenier? A coin I found at a local flea
market with that name engraved and —2ID Division Surgeon in Korea. Or can
someone point me in the right direction to locate him or family? I’d like to
return the coin.

Hello,
I am looking for more information for Corporal Shirley D Griebe. I found some
information at

http://www.koreanwar2.org/kwp2/usa/2id/go/USA_2ID_GO_1952_119-126.pdf

I would greatly appreciate if anybody would provide me a war time picture of Mr.
Griebe. Planning to create a shadow box with all the medals plus patch I have
purchased through eBay.

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,
Andrej

My grandfather, Robert Sholle, served in Korea between the
end of July 1951 until March of 1952.

He trained at Camp Breckenridge, KY and Fort Benning, GA and
was deployed to Korea during the beginning of the assault on
Hill 266, "Old Baldy". In the Fall of '51, he was
transferred to Koje-Do island, after a major riot had
occurred at the prison, as part of the reorganizing of
security forces. After that, he was transferred back to the
front lines (near Chorwon) with the 2nd Infantry Div, around
Jan./Feb. 1952, where he served the remainder of his time in
Korea. Something noteworthy he accomplished during his time
spent there was the welding together of 4 .30 cal machine
guns to a single frame, which proved an effective tactic
that some of the rest of the division decided to implement.
Robert "Bob" Sholle, always had a cheerful personality, and
a smile to go with his talkative nature. He said one of his
good friends during his time in KoREA was Phil Kolfa, a
medic in his unit.

I am doing a book about his time served in the military and
would greatly appreciate any information, if possible, about
both him and his unit during that time including friends,
unit positions, and stories.
