Ziegler served in country during 50-51 time frame. Six men came back with him on being rotated out, (under their own power)from their original company. He would like to find out about these guys.
Blaze was a BAR gunner with 2nd Div 9th Reg C company 2plt (maybe 2nd plt not for sure).
The men that he is looking for are:
Paul F. Lickey Kenneth Hendrickson (Wisconsin) Howard W. Haye or Hayes Evadella Komea Oliver Wald (Virginia) won DSC and was his asst gunner Roger Thorup (New York)
He has all of the above names on a dollar bill that he carried the whole time he was in country.
He does not have a computer, believes they are a pain and I am his son in law. Said I would see if I could get any info on these guys.
He would also like to make contact with Donald Stafford, Salina KS. (He was with Blaze when he received a shrapnel wound in the knee during a firefight).
