My Dad served with F Company, 2nd Batallion, 5th RCT from before they they deployed to Korea July 25th 1950 from Schofield Barracks until May of 1951 when he rotated out early because of two injuries. He was medevaced to Osaka Japan for injuries at one point. He trained on the recoilless rifle on the General Gaffey enroute to Korea and was close friends with Tony Bobbitt and Donald Ramsey, who were KIA while he was in Korea. I am trying to put him in touch with anyone who may have served with him. He does not have internet access, so please route all inquiries through me. Thank You, Judy Skinner (former Staff Sergeant, US Army)
