I am trying to find any information about Sgt Ward J Tibbs. He died in Korea in 1960 from injuries received when a truck overturned during military testing. I would like to hear from anyone who knows of this story or knew him.

Sgt Tibbs was my mother's first husband. He left two boys aged 5 and 6 behind when he died. I am trying to recreate his life story for them. Ward Tibbs was never spoken of in our home...EVER. My brothers deserve to know everything they can about their father. My mother, wonderful woman that she is, saved the one and only letter he sent to the boys. It was written one week before he died.

Please, please...if you knew him or anything about the truck accident, please email me.

Thank you.
