My father was drafted into the Army out of his obstetrics and gynecology residency and left for Korea when I was 6 weeks old, June 1952. He said he was in front of the Mash units at times, aid station got overrun. A map he sent home from newsweek of October 27, 1952 points that he was near Kumhwa. Pictures of him and buddies are standing in front of a tent with a sigh that says 2nd BN Aid station. Another picture of Capt Clark, Clerk of the aid station hasa sign that says White Sukoshi Mash. Another picture shows an African American by the name of Williams with my dad and this man was his Jeep driver. Another picture 'This is the Kansas Line stay on the road 'Mines'. Another picture states Badger hill? Robert Exon of topeka Kansas was in my dads unit. They also found a little puppy stuck in the mud adopted it and called it Saucerass. Anybody know my dad? would love to hear. Marianne Pedley Pleasant Hill, CA
