I am writing to find information about my grandfather's service. William
Willinsky serviced in the Army from Sept. 1949 to November 1952. Paperwork shows
his most significant duty assignment as:
Btry B 63rd AAA Gun Bn Germany

I am trying to obtain documentation from the Records Center in St. Louis, but
thought that I would give this a try, as well.

I'm sending this email on behalf of my uncle Celestino Lucero
who was also in Weisbaden Germany in 1951. He is trying to
reach others who might ba able to attest to his rank as SSgt.
For some reason his records were burned up in a fire at the
personnel center and he was wondering if anyone might know if
then Capt Redrick or 1stSgt Churchill might be still living to
be able to write a letter of testament on his behalf.
Celestino was the one who would cut hair on a regular request
from the troops. If you have any information it would be
greatly appreciated. (Nephew) Bobby Lucero (USAF/Ret/MSgt)

I was transfered from Indiantown Gap in February, 1954. I
had been on TDY, playing on the ALL SERVICES FOOTBALL
CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL TEAM THERE SINCE BEING DRAFTED IN
SEPTEMBER, 1954. MY TEAMMATE, JOHN dEwYSOCKI,AND I WERE THE
ONLY TWO SENT TO wIESBADEN. wE THEN WERE SENT TO 63RD AAA
BATTALION AND WERE AGAIN ON TDY FOR MOST OF THE TIME
PLAYING FIRST ON THE BASEBALL TEAM AND LATER ON THE 63RD
AAA, USAREUR CHAMPIONSHIP, FOOTBALL TEAM.
wOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM ANY TEAMMATES.

I served in Hq Btry, 63d AA Gun Bn from February, 1955 to September, 1956 in Wiesbaden Germany. Would like to hear from anyone who was there at that time. (Basic training at Ft. Bliss - huts and horseshoe barracks)

I was in 'A' Battery in the 63rd in Wiesbaden from August 1951 till Feb. 1954. Has there ever been a reunion for the 63rd? Would like to hear from anyone who was there at that time.
