I am looking for information on the Army surveyors/forward observers. I am trying to find anyone who knew PFC Raymond Dean Grogan. I know he was hurt in Korea and recieved the purple heart but can find no reference to how he was hurt or why he recieved the Purple Heart. Any help would be appreciated. I am trying to find information for my Aunt (his sister) and his family. It seems all his records were lost and there are'nt any of his generation left who might help fill in the blanks. Thank you.
