My father was Captain Rupert Julian Costlow. He was killed near Ascom, Korea in L-19 Bird Dog aircraft accident on February 18, 1952 along with a 1st Lt. William John Rodgers. I am looking for anyone who knew either of these men. My mother (deceased in 1993) had an official Army photo (dated December 2, 1952) of a stone monument dedicating 'Costlow Rodgers Field'. I assume it was (and is?) at Ascom. I am looking for anyone who knew Costlow or Rodgers. I am also looking for anyone who knows anything about 'Costlow Rodgers Field'. I now possess the photo of the stone monument dedication ceremony.
