Dear Alice, i was in the 622nd MP Co in Japan and Robert C McCord, CPL, RA 15251158 shipped with the comapny to Korea, arrivingat Pusan on 5 Jul 1950. Our company was the first Military Police Company to arrive in Korea at the start of the war. I have a personnel roster of the company for July 1950 and it indicates that Robert transferred to the 34th In Regt on 16 July 1950. I know nothing further of this matter but suggest you check out the 34th Inf Regt of the 24th Infantry Division.
