I am working on a web site dedicated to my Dad's military service both in WWII and Korea. He was always a member of a ROB or TMRS unit. In WW II it was the 743rd. I think the ROBS are so interesting and frequently overlooked in history of the war. My Dad also served in the 765th and 3rd TMRS in Korea and the 8010th in Japan so I am interested in many ROB groups and have done a web site for each one of these and the 765th site includes a those who served page and a great history of the Pershing #101 locomotive.
My Dad was Capt Bill Griffin he was in ETO 1942-1945 and Korea 1951-1955. I would be interested in hearing from veterans of the ROB and MRS units.
