Hi Bruce, I had visited with you once beforeand just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your site. I was not assigned to SantaBarbara but I spent a lot of time helping to build the place in 54 and 55 being next door with the 74th combat engineers.I have a couple of pictures of a pontoon bridge we built near the main gate that I will try to send to you. I was surprised to see a village there on the river as it was all vacant land in the spring of '55 when we built the bridge and there were no perimeter fence's anywhere near the main gate.I will sort them out and send them along.
