I served as company clerk for HHC 1st 73d Armor Battalion
from January 1974 through December 1974. I was distinguished
soldier for Basic Leadership Course, Soldier of the month
for 1st Brigade twice in 1974. I was specialist 4 and
promoted in May to specialist 5. Also had the opportunity to
meet Prime Minister of South Korea, General Stilwell (face
to face), and selected as one of the fifty solders to meet
President Ford during his visit to 2d Division. Being young
and dumb and you know the rest... I have no pictures though
many were taken by senior NCO's and many others. I wish I
had some of those pictures now for my memoirs.
