Looking for anyone who was enlisted or knew my father Lee H. Bowden. He passed away last year and my mother found his army trunk in her attic. My father never talked much about his army days. I do know he received a purple heart for getting severe frostbite while on a mission in one of the mountains. I came across many patches and insignias that I'm having problems figuring out what they mean. If anyone could give me any info I would be very thankful. I have the utmost thanks and respect to anyone who has ever served in any branch of the armed services. Thank you.
