looking for any info on charles patterson whitler 1st squd 5th cav. declaerd missing in 1948? not sure i have his photo album with pictures in tokyo, japan dates 1947-1948. my father died the same night we got the telegram in nov. i would have been 5 in dec. and i was born in 1943. please anyone that can help. he was regular army. how would i obtain his serial number?
