My great uncle served in Co C 187th. Wondering if any one remembers him, Armando 'Monty' Bartlett. He was a M/Sgt when he was discharged in 1952.

Hi, my name is David. I stumbled onto this thread while researching on the Korean War. My grandfather was in 187 ARCT Airborne. His name is Frank Carrillo. He is currently living in Whittier, California. Does anyone remember him. Lefty Garcia, Johnny Urias, and Manuel Gonzales were some of his good buddies.

My Dad was then M/Sgt John Nemeth in, I believe, Co. C of the 187th ARCT: CIB;--his second the first in WWII, and he got his third in Viet Nam at the age of 58; Purple Heart--the second of 3 to go with his 3 CIB's; Bronze Star and Silver Star. He was at Camp Wood-Kumamoto, Japan after the war. We lived there while I was in part of the 6th grade and all of 7th grade. Rotated back to Bragg in summer of '55.
He was in the 187th again when they went from Augsburg Germany to Lebanon during that unpleasantness.
Yes, it's true, 3 CIB's in three separate wars--one of 204 enshrined at Benning's Infantry museum. My Father wore the 187th insignia the rest of his career.
